Kia ora e te Whānau,
Firstly, sorry for the delay in the correspondence. Thank you for patience. We had a great turn out with the 3 Way Conferences with 90% attendance over the last few days - ka pai.
Please find attached a letter outlining the Distance Learning programme. I must state this is optional as you as families will be going through things yourselves and work demands, so we don't want to place unnecessary pressure on you. Your child's class teacher will be intouch with you tomorrow via email or See-saw. I will complete a couple of Facebook Live reading sessions on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 August 10am - 10.30am and demonstrate how to set-up a tent on the lawn. These live sessions can be viewed on the Home and School Facebook page. If the lockdown goes beyond the initial three days we will review the distance learning tasks going forward.
Just remember the school site is closed under Alert Level 4, so please don't go into it - thank you.
Please ensure you stay safe within your bubble. Kia kaha Mātai Rangatira whānau.
Ngā mihi nui,

Ed Trotter
